OdinixBigBang - Temp ban 14 days

to put it simply. i permanently banned this player for having the name "Toreba_Negra". negra means "black person" or as most people know it, the "n" word.

i do not think i need proof for this. he is free to join on another account that is not a racist name.

caught kindak1 griefing WE'd diamond blocks made by xXDogsTyLXx. banned Dogstyl for 2 weeks because i have seen him (through console) spawning lots of diamond blocks using //pyramid //sphere etc. i removed the diamond blocks from kindak's inventory and banned him 7 days. i believe that Dog had been using his WE abilities to spawn diamond spheres or the sort for people for them to take the diamond blocks off of and the person can claim they are 'helping' when really , they are taking the diamond blocks.

well. i am not one for discrimination but i feel this should be brought to peoples' attention. the brazilian players (who are generally 9 years old to 12) are extremely immature and rule breakers and do not listen. i tell them in portuguese (their language too) that they must speak english and follow rules , i have had maybe 2 or 3 listen, the rest of them just do not listen. infact i had a player say earlier 'no we will not listen, let us spam' and started to spam 'kkkkkkkkkk' in the chat along with his immature friends and were muted.

they do not understand english at all , and i tell them to go into /msg and they do not listen.

if anyone has any suggestions on how to fix these problems apart from giving harsh punishments (though that might be needed), then feel free to post.

Deadshot caught these 2 players encasing another players' house in a massive dirt cube up to 112 blocks. i looked at the logs, these 2 were found and also deadshot caught them with his own eyes. tempbans of 7 days each.

stephannorsk and CooLboy360 are the same person. i had previously banned stephannorsk account for griefing twice and having already served 1 week ban for his first grief , he was permanent banned the 2nd time. today (a day after his permanent ban) he comes online on a new account pretending to be someone else without ANY appeal for his first account. i am not very happy with that as i believe if you have not bothered to do an appeal , then you should not be allowed back on the server without telling ANYONE that you are on another account

i have caught this guy griefing twice now. the first time he was let off with a 1 week ban or so. this time i have caught him griefing chests. proof is here. permanent ban needed i would say as he said he would never grief again and has already griefed once before.

this guy was caught griefing a farm made by "Hamza", i have logblock proof. he is a brazilian and does not understand english, so i will do this in portuguese too. tempban of 2 days

Kindak reported to us that player "stoneboy10" had stolen out of his chests and had killed him. i used logblock to see if items were stolen, and i came up with a diamond pickaxe that was indeed stolen. temp banned for 1 day.

this player was constantly speaking portuguese in the public chat. after 2 days of constant warnings and mutes and telling him in portuguese to use /message, he kept ignoring me. 1 day temporary ban.

i banned FriendlyDictator for 2 days for destroying the whole front of a house. here is my screenshot of evidence. the house is owned by the_gunslinger0. i was prevented from rolling it back as it was longer than 2880 minutes ago, however it wasn't much over that limit.

as many players probably know, there are a ton of brasilian players on the server who do not speak one word of english. this is not a problem, but players have been telling me and other moderators that seeing constant portuguese in the chat is annoying them. i have also had to mute a few of the brazilian players after telling them to use /msg to speak portuguese, or just speak english. so here are some common phrases to help you understand them.

sim = yes
nao = no
eu não sei = I do not know.
Eu não falar Inglês = i do not speak english.
Eu nao falar Portugues = I do not speak portuguese.

Por que eu preciso de falar Inglês? = Why do I need to speak English?
As regras dizem que você deve falar Inglês = The rules say that you must speak English.

Eu não vou falar Inglês = I will not speak English
Se você não fala Inglês, você pode silenciado para sempre = If you do not speak English, you may be muted forever

Falar Inglês, ou usar /msg de falar Português, obrigado = Speak English, or use /msg to speak Portuguese, thank you.
Por favor, fale Inglês ou usar /msg ou você será silenciado = Please speak English or use /msg or you will be muted (MODERATORS ONLY)

this is more of a guide to staff who do not speak portuguese and need help understanding the amount of portuguese-speaking people on the server, however this might not help you too much because Brazilians and Portuguese people speak different languages sort of. ofcourse, normal players can use this as you wish. hope I helped. REMEMBER! Never use Google Translator.

I am Wanyama as many of you may have seen me from the server, i hope that i've put the impression on you that I am a guy who likes to be friendly hehe. I am applying for moderator (or possibly trusted if that is ok and if i am accepted - because i can be online every day, but maybe only 2 hours or so a day, because i have real life stuff to attend to but its worth a shot).

Country and timezone: Portugal. GMT +1.

Why i want to be moderator: I want to become a staff/moderator/trusted (whatever you wish to call it) because i feel that i could bring something to players and to staff. i have been playing minecraft since Beta 1.7.3 i believe so a year and a half almost. I have very good knowledge with Worldguard, worldedit, residence, logblock and many more. I can show this through helping people set up residences, and i can also help staff adjust to logblock. I believe that my kinder nature would do the server even more good, as i am a peaceful person and usually do not resort to the dreaded "banhammer" but sometimes in rare cases, it must be used for obvious reasons. My understanding of rules is very good, i recognize the fact that English must be spoken in public chat at all times. This brings me to my next point. As i am multi-lingual or however you want to say it, i speak multiple languages. I know Portuguese, Spanish, English, a bit of French and the basics of German. If someone was speaking in different language, i could tell them in their respected language to speak English only, or go to /msg to speak their native language. This can come in handy rather than using that awful Google translator .

Am I active in game and on forums: Yes, from time to time, my job and real life take over but hey everything does once in a while. Sometimes i can be active many hours a day. I check the forums usually once a day. I know how to moderate forums as i used to run a Runescape one many years ago, hehe, good times.
