Have you got any mods?
Also, try updating your graphics card drivers if you havent done that.

First line says it all. That means that you don't have the correct drivers for your graphics card installed. I assume by system reset, you mean that you reinstalled windows. After reinstalling windows you should download the latest drivers for your hardware from the respective manufacturers.
If you don't know how to get the drivers, reply back and I can guide you through it :)
I know how to get the drivers, but for some reason its not registering the card I have in. It works, because I have my monitor hooked up to it. Its a Fatal1ty GeForce 8500 GT. But when I try to get it from the GeForce website, it couldn't detect the card. I tried finding the 8500 GT's driver but it says I'm missing a bunch of windows update and I can't find them. Starting to think that a reset was more trouble than it was worth :-\

Well, Check out the hardware ID's on the card and look them up. I've had that problem with Nvidia card drivers as well. Had to manually install.
