As per a suggestion by Deimos and some agreement from staff, Who would like to see the Survival world on KCv2 opened up to all players on the server? If you've got any extra comments, Please reply!

I was wondering what people would think about having a (Preferably FTB, Which is similar to Tekkit, but IMO better) server. It would be a cracked whitelisted server that would require you to pay a certain amount per month to gain access to, As it's not very easy to administer and expensive to host. The amount would be somewhere around $5-10 per month, Depending on the number of people interested.

Please comment what you think/If you would 100% be able and willing to pay per month for this.

Over the last few days I have added and tweaked a number of features on the forums, Namely the new home page/portal, A proper layout for mobile devices/small tablets, and real Facebook integration.

New Home Portal:
Today I made some fairly major changes to the home page layout of the forums. Now, Instead of seeing the general 'board layout' that you are used to, you now see the home portal.

The reason for this is that I want to replace the shabby-looking home page over at www.kaise123.com with something more appealing and easier to maintain, And make it tie in with the forums alot better.
The home page will be developed by myself and other staff members over the coming weeks to include general easy to find information on what most people will be looking for on the forums, such as applications for KCv2 Ranks, General KCv2 information, KaiseClient information, etc.

There are also a few extra things that have been added, such as the shoutbox on the upper right hand side of the home page. Please put whatever you want in there just don't swear. It's there for your entertainment

Facebook Integration:
You may have noticed the new comment boxes at the bottom of every topic, And if your more observant you would have noticed the 'recommend' button near the top. These are just there to make it easier to voice your opinion or share certain topics with your friends.

Along with the integration comes the ability to link your profile with Facebook and register with your Facebook account. To link your existing profile with Facebook, Simply visit Profile>Facebook and link it there. If you have not registered with the forums, you can now do so via Facebook so it is much easier to register/verify your account.

Mobile Site:
Last but not least, A fully functional mobile version of the forums has been added. This makes it ALOT easier to browse the forums on a mobile device, as everything is now the right size, not to mention faster. PLEASE NOTE that the new mobile version of the forums currently conflicts with the forums chat. In order to view the site on your mobile device, You need to disable the chat bar from Profile>Modify Profile>Look And Layout>Chat Bar Settings. Sorry, This will be fixed ASAP. Fixed! It will work now with no changes, And you may re-enable your chat bar if you disabled it.

Hey all, I'm just writing this out to remind anyone who doesn't already know that I'll be away overseas until the 13th of August. While I should still have internet, Be able to update to 1.6 and continue my activity as normal, I cannot guarantee this so I might not always be replying within a day on the forums.

As for the server updating to 1.6, The spawn and new (Custom generated) world is complete, And I'll leave all information regarding the upgrade to the very capable team of staff. I will personally be updating the server to 1.6 over the next few days, But the update going public is reliant upon my internet access and available time. I'm going to try to get some updating done while I'm on the plane, however there is no internet while in flight so I can only do so much.

(Mostly a heads-up for staff/people trying to reach me lately) Just apologizing for my inactivity, I honestly haven't had time to come on the forums, Skype or reply to eMails in the last week or so. Last week I was away out of phone range, busy working on stuff, So I had limited internet and was too tired/busy to check anyway. Then, On Friday I had my school Formal (Kinda like prom I guess) so I was busy getting ready for that (Eugh, I had to wear a suit ). After the formal, I was at an afterparty and got next to no sleep, Then the day after (Saturday) was a friends 21st birthday party, So I was at her place all day helping out with that, and then most of the night as well. By the time I got home it was about midnight and I had had about 2 hours sleep in the previous 36 hours, So I didn't have time then either.

I'll be able to reply to most if not all of the current posts, emails, etc later on today, But I'll be fairly busy throughout the week. I am also going for an overseas holiday on the 8th of August, So I'll be a bit inactive for the next 5-6 weeks, But I'll make sure I find time to keep up with everything and update the server to 1.6 ASAP.

So, The server is running well and there are no immediate updates that will require my attention, So I wish to direct my time towards making the server better for the most important people: The players. If it wasn't for the people who play on the server, it wouldn't exist.

So I want to ask the question, what do you, the players, want from KCv2? What would keep you interested or draw you into the server more?

Any suggestions or comments about the server are welcome, Plugin additions, Config changes (Is NoCheat too annoying? Do you not have permission for something that you should?), updates, better ways to deal with players, issues with staff, etc. All is welcome and will be considered.

Just to let everyone know, I changed the plugin that we use to manage the different inventories between the main and survival worlds. While I tried my best to make sure that all of your inventories were safely carried across to the new system, There may be some glitches/bugs which caused some not to be.

If you believe that you have lost anything in survival SINCE this change, Please reply to this post with what you think you lost. It WILL be checked by me, so don't bother to post anything that you didn't actually have unless you have proof.

I hope that the new plugin will help with players losing their items or having items glitched between the worlds.

I have just noticed that a number of players who have recently received a rank have lost it. I am not sure what caused it but it seems that nobody who got a rank between the 15th of may and now will have it anymore.

Hey all, I just wanted to explain my current activity around the forums, lack of responses and activity on Skype, and general lack of work on the server.

There are several reasons for this, Primarily that I'm currently quite busy working on a school production (I'm 'chief electrician' working on lighting, cabling, projections, etc). This means that I don't get home from school until late (After 6PM) on weekdays, And by then I have lots of other stuff to do. I also need to go in to school on weekends to work on this.

The production dates are the 30th until the 2nd. After that, I will resume my old activity, And I'll be much more active on the forums, Skype, etc.

Another reason is my internet. As of right now, I have this speed: http://www.speedtest.net/result/2721889821.png. That makes it an absolute PAIN to even open a Google search, let alone answer everything on the forums. I try my very best to read everything every day but I might not always be able to do so. Sorry for inconvenience that this causes anyone that wants my attention for anything.

Also, I should be getting ADSL2+ fairly soon, As there has recently been an upgrade to the exchange in my area to allow it. When it's installed I'll be able to actually participate on the server and it'll be much easier then it used to be to maintain.

I just updated the server to 1.5.2, So everyone can now update (Or for those using my client, Tick 'force update').

Currently DynMap is missing from the server, As I want to test it's performance impact on the server. Sorry about that but I'm sure I'll re-add it soon.

I have also increased the size of the Main world from 3000 to 6000, And the size of Survival from 4000 to 6000. Enjoy the new space . I'd also like to make some capital cities (3 of them, in a triangular space an even distance from spawn towards the edge of the map) With warps to and between them from the main spawn. Jason suggested this, and I would like to implement it as I think it's a great idea. Use the spawn as a central hub and have MultiVerse portals leading to different places on the map such as the capital cities and the mall(s). Whoever would like to help build this should talk to Staff, And any staff are encouraged to co-ordinate to construct these cities.

I would also like to ask staff members to try to remove any large areas of pointless crap on the server (Use CoreProtect to check if it's active, if not for ~25 days, reset it with //regen). This should remove any of the particularly ugly and annoying structures around the server to 'refresh' the world for a while. Thanks to anyone who does this.

Saw these 2 players discussing the use of nodus, Specifically freecam in Survival. This is just a small snippet but they also spread the link to it and discussed it more further up in the log. Ban time is 10 days. Further offences will result in longer bans and disbanding of their faction.

Download the Windows EXE if you are running Windows, Otherwise use the Jar. Requires Java 6/1.6 or above, and should work on Windows XP, Vista (If your lucky), 7, 8.

The launcher will work for snapshot versions, and should be compatible with any future versions of Minecraft above the current 1.6.4.

McOpenLauncher is an offline mode/'cracked'* launcher for Minecraft versions 1.5 onwards, based on Mojang's new Minecraft launcher. I am not the creator of this launcher.
