Kaise i need help on my server. can you tell me how other people can get on my server if i have no ip

Kaise123

They need to join using your External IP address (Find it here: http://www.whatismyip.com/ ). You also need to open your ports so that people can connect (Port forwarding). As this is different for every router, I can't give you a spcific guide, But you can look here: http://portforward.com/

Good luck :) Keep in mind that you won't be able to have lots of players on from around the world (Like KCv2 for example) because your upload speed will be too slow, And people will lag too much.

I`ve been toying with servers and I did consider opening a server to friends, mainly to practice how to serve. But I was wondering what kind of upload speed is reasonable. I get about 750 kbits/s, upload speed, I`m wondering if that would be too slow or ok for a few people to join to? For instance, what upload speed does your server have with its current setup?

That should be fine for some nearby friends, But it will lag a bit when you get around 10 players online, And it won't be any good for people from far away. KCv2's upload speed is around 306020 kb/s (298mbps)

I have my own server but its not popular and I just found out how today.
IP: 25.180.126.197

and its still off today because I will go to my bed so it will be on
some time, I sometimes go to this server and I stilL finding out
about commands.

I had the problem like you first but all I did is fix the properties
and make a white list (try putting the the max players 4-5 first or it
won't work), try scanning this website page and know about server
http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/File:Server.properties.png

Used:
Mineshaftsquered client- for the server I guess.
Hamachi - to know my Ip address.
Minecraft server launcher - For launching server and
automatically makes properties.

Mineshaftsquered client - for your own minecraft
Hamachi - to create a Virtual/Group Network/Ip
Minecraft Server Launcher - to create/launch server

You also can do without Hamachi but thats a bit harder for you i think
Also, if you need help ask me

TIP: Use Bukkit to make a server like Kaise
