Good day/night to you all, Im here to talk about adding the player heads mod in the server so that whenever a player gets killed in pvp the winner can get a player head with the losers skin. The drop rate is at default 10% but is configurable and only needs to be installed server-side
(but I believe connecting clients must have Minecraft Forge installed)

That's not true.. He might do mods but not clientside mods
They have this on another server that i play on, its pretty cool. But its not really necessary ::)
Just founded a plugin for that, but player heads isnt so fun it does actually nothing only playerheads

oh well, it is fun, you can collect a head from player which have skin (I don't so it's fun for me) and you can use it as your head item.

I can't add any server 'mods', Unless Bukkit/Spigot/Minecraft implement a way to allow server-side plugins to manipulate the client. At the moment, Not only is it very difficult and unsupported to add mods to the server, it also causes general instability and things need to be reconfigured every time the server is updated. Therefore, no mods that require client mods can be added, Especially mods that items to the game.
If there is a PLUGIN (IE something that does not require editing of the server Jar file) that does not require Spout or client mods, THEN it can be added.
I found one but its not yet updated to 1.5.1
