I cannot wait to join the updated server.
Download it now to check out the new things if you havent did it already.
Technically it's only a pre-release, it's not actually out yet. Unless I'm mistaken?
Server update may be a little while. There are quite a number of changes in 1.7.

I wouldn't update the server until 1.7.3 out whatever it is because there are multiple bugs like a minecart when you exit it out moves you three blocks away from where you're suppose to and the textures have been messed up like the crafting table is inverted. So yeah I'd wait.

There aren't even any working Spigot server builds out for 1.7 yet, so updating is impossible. It'll be at least 1-2 weeks before it's done.
