Title: Help, please.
Post by: mariofil on January 19, 2013, 07:31:23 AM
Hi, my IGN is Mariofil. I was recently muted for talking foreign language in minecraft chat.
I think that this is unfair because I was just helping my mate that is not good at English.
And also he is new at Minecraft, so he still don't know how to use private messages.
I promise that such thing wont happen again.

I hope that you will understand, and that I will be unmuted soon.

Thanks for reading, and your time.

Speaking in another language interferes with other players' chat. You can always use /msg <playername> to speak your language, or set up a group call on some software that supports it so you can all communicate. Hope you understand.

You can also use a party chat (You can create an MCMMO part with /party <partyname> and then you can invite players to it with /invite. You can then toggle party chat on and off with /p

I had warned you before the mute about speaking other languages, And you could easily have sent your friend a message telling him how to use messages.
