I had to click the logout button before playing offline, then it works like a charm!

If only Sparamoule cracked the launcher so that you could also play it on pure LAN (i.e. without an internet connection).
On start it contacts the server to retrieve a list with the current minecraft versions, but you're only able to choose a version when connected to the internet =/

Anywho: props to Sparamoule and Kaise123 for the share! =)

edit: You can play without internet if putting all the needed files together and running the jar using javaw incl. parameters

update: Unfortunately the latest snapshot 13w23a doesn't work with MCOpenLauncher 0.7, Mojang have updated theirs to 0.8.3 =(

It would be really interesting, instructive and useful to read exactly which files you include as parameters for javaw, even if the actual version of the open launcher suffers from the recent update.
