That's what I'm using to get on 1.6.2. You have to add the server info for KCv2, but it works.

Download, enter username, hit play. Easy as the KaiseCraft launcher.

I was told that TeamExtreme is a griefing group, but, I've not seen anything on the launcher or in MC while it's running that would assist me to grief. Matter of fact, the client is a 1.6.2 clean client, no mods.

Either of them should work, But really if you just download: http://www.kaise123.com/minecraft/McOpenLauncher/EXE/McOpenLauncher.MC162.V111_Win.exe and open it, It will work. You honestly don't need to do anything else.
