I uninstalled and ran the new torrented 1.4.7 and one it all installed I logged and and the usual "installing minecraft" retrieving minecraft... popped up but once it finished the screen went black what to do

It shouldn't say 'Installing Minecraft' or 'Updating Minecraft' or anything like that. Make sure you run the crashfix and then reinstall. If you still have the issue try reinstalling and launching the game while disconnected from the Internet.

Edit: The client automatically retrieves minecraft.jar forcibly and I just tried it myself, it gives a black screen.

Sorry everyone, It is my fault. I'm not sure how but I compiled the installer and uploaded it without some crucial files that are required to make it work. I will upload a fixed version ASAP, But if you know what you are doing you can fix it yourself by installing LWJGL into the minecraft directory in the correct places.

cool project dude, but my mc fails already at starting:( after the log in screen, the game starts to download packages, but when its finished the window turns black and it stays black  could you help me pls?

I'm Having the same problem with my minecraft and now i cant play i have no idea what to do this is the first time this has happend to me

delete the META-INF file if you're having problems with a black screen after logging in.

search %appdata% in your search function in Windows.
use WinRAR to open the minecraft.jar in your minecraft folder
find the 'META-INF' folder
delete it

after that, re-open Minecraft and it should work.

If the game starts downloading packages it's probably not Meta-Inf. Try completely removing and then re-installing the game.

this is the best minecraft release ive ever encounter. improving minecraft by only including mods that simplify things in minecraft, making things easier and does not make minecraft a chore. notch, imho, is not a great game designer. what happens to minecraft is sheer luck. thanks for fixing notch needless chore design.

i have few suggestion that i think could be package in an extended Kaise123 release
1. include mods that adds more content without breaking the lore.(more creatures, denser etc)
2. include mods that really enhance the graphics.
